Notes & Activity

Notes help you capture context, record conversations, and keep your team informed about what's happening with contacts, deals, tasks, and projects.

Adding a Note

Notes can be added to:

  • Contacts — Record call summaries, meeting notes, or important details about a relationship.
  • Deals — Track negotiations, decisions, proposals sent, and next steps.
  • Tasks — Add context, updates, or blockers about the task.
  • Projects — Capture project-level decisions and status updates.

To add a note:

  1. Open the detail page of any contact, deal, task, or project.
  2. Scroll to the Activity section.
  3. Type your note in the text field and click Save.

File Attachments

Notes support file attachments. You can upload documents, images, spreadsheets, or other files alongside a note to keep everything in context. Attachments are stored securely and accessible to all team members.

Activity Timeline

Each contact, deal, task, and project has an activity timeline that shows:

  • All notes added by team members, with the author's name and timestamp.
  • A record of significant changes (e.g., status changes on deals and tasks).

The timeline is displayed in reverse chronological order (newest first).

Visibility

All notes are visible to every member of your organization. There are no private notes — this ensures full transparency across the team.

Editing Notes

You can edit a note after saving it by clicking the edit icon on the note in the timeline. The edited content replaces the original.

Deleting Notes

You can delete a note from the activity timeline by clicking the delete icon. Deleted notes and their attachments cannot be recovered.
