Troubleshooting

I can't log in

  • Check your email and password — Make sure you're using the correct credentials.
  • Reset your password — Click "Forgot password?" on the login page to receive a reset link via email.
  • Check your email verification — If you just registered, you must verify your email address before logging in. Check your inbox (and spam folder) for the verification email.
  • Try a different browser — If the issue persists, try logging in from a different browser or an incognito window.

I was invited but can't see the organization

  • Find the invitation email — Check your inbox and spam/junk folder for an email from LeanGrid.
  • Accept the invitation — Click the link in the invitation email. It expires after 7 days.
  • Switch organizations — If you're already logged in, open the organization selector in the sidebar to switch to the newly joined organization.
  • Ask for a resend — If the invitation expired or you can't find it, ask an Admin in that organization to resend it from Settings → Team.

Changes aren't showing up for other team members

LeanGrid syncs data in real time. If a team member isn't seeing your changes:

  • Ask them to check their connection — Real-time sync requires an active internet connection.
  • Hard refresh — Ctrl+Shift+R (Windows) or Cmd+Shift+R (Mac) forces a full page reload and clears any cached state.
  • Check the sync indicator — A sync status icon in the app shows whether the connection is active. If it's showing an error, there may be a connectivity issue.

The app feels slow or data seems stale

  • Hard refresh — Ctrl+Shift+R (Windows) or Cmd+Shift+R (Mac).
  • Clear browser storage — In rare cases, browser storage can become inconsistent. Clear site data for app.getleangrid.com in your browser's developer tools.
  • Check your connection — A weak or intermittent connection can delay sync.

I can't create a deal — the "New Deal" button does nothing or deal type is missing

You must have at least one deal type configured before creating deals. Go to Settings → Deal Types and create a deal type first.

I accidentally deleted something

Deletions in LeanGrid are permanent and cannot be recovered. Unfortunately, there is no undo or recycle bin.

We recommend being careful with delete operations, especially for contacts and deals with extensive history.

I'm not receiving invitation emails

  • Check your spam/junk folder.
  • Make sure the inviting Admin used the correct email address (Settings → Team → Pending Invites).
  • Ask the Admin to cancel the invitation and resend it.
  • If the problem persists, contact us at hello@getleangrid.com.

The mobile app isn't syncing

  • Ensure you have an active internet connection.
  • Pull down on the main list screens to trigger a manual refresh.
  • Force-close the app and reopen it to re-establish the sync connection.
