Inviting Team Members
Bring your team into LeanGrid by sending email invitations from within the app.
Sending an Invitation
- Go to Settings → Team.
- Click Invite Member.
- Enter the person's email address.
- Choose a role: Admin or User. (See Team Roles for the difference.)
- Click Send Invite.
The invitee receives an email with a link to join your organization. The link is valid for 7 days.
What Happens Next
- If the person already has a LeanGrid account — they click the link, accept the invitation, and the organization appears in their sidebar immediately.
- If they don't have an account yet — the link takes them to the registration page. After signing up, they automatically join your organization with the assigned role.
Managing Pending Invitations
Pending invitations are listed in Settings → Team under "Pending Invites". From there you can:
- See which invitations are still awaiting acceptance.
- Resend an invitation if the person didn't receive the email (check spam/junk folders first).
- Cancel a pending invitation to revoke the invite link.
Team Member Limits
There are no limits on the number of team members you can invite. All team sizes are supported on the current plan.
Roles After Joining
You can change a member's role at any time after they've joined. See Team Roles for details.
